Now that we're back on shore...

... does anyone have even the slightest inkling why the boat sank?  In terms of causality, I mean.  Did we hit a reef?  Spring a leak?  Did Antarean barnacle geese chew holes in the hull?  And what made the engines stop?  Were they already waterlogged, or was whatever stopped them part of the cause?  And how did the entirety of the crew find out and abandon ship so quickly and quietly?  I mean, honestly, who abandons a ship quietly?

For that matter,why name your ship the Medusa?  But grim for a cruise, isn't it?
