Now that we're back on shore...
... does anyone have even the slightest inkling why the boat sank? In terms of causality, I mean. Did we hit a reef? Spring a leak? Did Antarean barnacle geese chew holes in the hull? And what made the engines stop? Were they already waterlogged, or was whatever stopped them part of the cause? And how did the entirety of the crew find out and abandon ship so quickly and quietly? I mean, honestly, who abandons a ship quietly?
For that matter, why name your ship the Medusa? But grim for a cruise, isn't it?

What I'm more concerned about is the lifeboat situation. There should have been plenty for at least most of the people on board, if not all of them. So why were there so few when we started to evacuate?

When the lifeboats got back to shore, was there any sign that the crew had arrived first, I wonder.

I haven't heard any sign of them... do you think maybe they went the other way? Got lost?

Assuming the records are honest, of course.

But yes. Everything about the crew's reactions seems wrong. Disturbingly so. Honestly, it's making me a little paranoid.
