how to be illegally married to your roommate
My dowry doesn't at least have a sickly sheep or something. This is kind of really insulting. Not that I should take it seriously but---I mean. It's like "Here's your heir to the tribe, sir! All you had to do was hand over some frilly underpants and a box of cake powder stuff! -What mead? We're not celebrating with mead. You get this bottle of bubble junk."
There aren't even swords in this basket. Worst wedding ever.

[And back to that whole "not sure if should talk about living in a tower for 18 years and never leaving" thing.]
Are giant lizards normal where you're from?
no subject
Yep. All over. The big dragon kind.

[She recalls him mentioning something about monsters not truly being horrible.]
...Are the dragons, um, well... nice?
no subject
Yeah. They're super nice as long as you approach them right. If you spook them they get a snappy and they have different personalities so there's always one that might actually want to eat you but overall they're big softies.
no subject
It sounds like you know a lot about them. I'm glad you do; they sound neat.
no subject
A ton. I spent hours with one daily back home. They are. They'd probably like you. You seem like you got this non-threatening friend-to-all vibe going for you.
no subject
I can be plenty threatening when I want to. [Just look at those doe eyes, chipmunk cheeks, and silky hair; she's totally a danger to those who cross her.] Not that I'd try to be around a dragon.
no subject
Uh-huh. I'm sure you can. [ Threatening: No. No way. Nobody would think that.
Is she actually a threat though? Probably. She is carrying around like 40 pounds of hair all the time like it's no big deal. ]

Well, he complained about the being tied up, but not the pan.
no subject
What'd you do with him once you had him tied up?
no subject
I made a bargain with him so I could see the floating lights... lanterns. In return, I'd give him back his satchel.
no subject
So what stolen goods did he have in the satchel? Or was it just a really nice bag?
no subject
It had a crown inside. I guess he stole it from someone.
no subject
Probably. What kind of crown was it?
no subject
Um... one with lots of jewels and gold, if I remember right.
no subject
Yeah, definitely stolen. I don't know why people go for crowns. People usually notice when those go missing. Just grab a bunch of fancy earrings or something.
