What catches her -- what makes her willing to actually, honestly believe it -- is his admission that he messed up too. That it's possible to still be the one that screws up when that person, the one who calls you a failure and trash, gets mad. She wouldn't have believed him at all if he'd tried to tell her it was never her -- their -- fault. But he is. He's acknowledging that, the way she had to acknowledge she really had failed that day she'd tried to fight Riku.

He's only saying that it's not the end of the world.

Saix's damage is not her problem.

It takes her a while to calm down enough to reply.
