I honestly did not expect getting marked to be so stressful.

Oh? My experience was very relaxing. Fun, even!

Well, I wasn't expecting relaxing, really, but a bit of fun, maybe?

I wasn't either. It was a pleasant surprise!
I take it your opponent was... enthusiastic?

I didn't know 13 year olds could
be
that aggressive.

I think it's one of their more admirable qualities.

I'm certainly impressed. A little scared too, though.

Marked? Did you get bitten?

Oh! No, no, thank God. It's some sort of elimination game where people have to um draw on each other with markers.
I think the biting thing's over. Hopefully?

Oh I'm glad, I was worried for a second there. But playing with markers sounds like much more fun than getting bitten.

I think so too! I mean, I'll get over the marker thing, I suppose, but seeing that many zombies around will probably stay a while.

That's true. Better than a real zombie outbreak though, right? These went away on their own!

That happens a lot here, actually? There's like, suddenly something really awful happening and it goes away just as fast.
So yeah, I guess better than regular zombies. Though I really...wish it hadn't happened at all!

Does it? I guess there wouldn't be a schedule or a bulletin board where we could find out when to stay indoors, would there...
Well, if weird things happen, it's good to know they're temporary. I find it easier to get through things when I know they have to end eventually!

That would be really helpful, which I don't think the people in charge of this place are really interested in being. So, no bulletin board.
That's a bit of comfort, I suppose!

You think
that's
bad - try getting stalked for a week by the terror that flaps in the night.
